Sales Training
The sales training includes:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes each year.
    • Two week program focused on technical and sales to better equip the RSC for success in their area.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes each year.
    • Two week class focused on technical and sales to better equip the RSC for success in their area.
  • Two (2) different sales programs offered for General Managers twice a year, totaling four-and-a-half training days, focusing on sales culture and everyday sales management.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians includes:

  • HVAC tune-up procedural training in spring and fall
  • Carbon monoxide and heat exchanger inspection annually
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ twice a year
  • Continual NATE certification and specialty programs on demand

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in additional instruction through the use of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc programs to better train our technical personnel.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Semiannually, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to provide support, resources, and framework for running a business from the P&L standpoint.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Three (3) times annually, conduct outbound calling over a one (1) day program. In this course we go over HVAC basics, why people buy, calling techniques, scripts, customer buying signs, and controlling customer grievances.

Dispatcher

  • No formal classes offered. On the job training provided by the General Manager and relevant staff at the center.
